I Met Miller

Well ish.

If it wasn't for Harry (Author - www.sandalswithsocks.blogspot.com), the below moment would not have happened.

Yes, that is Sienna Miller.

Big Love.

We Are The Superlative Conspiracy

Today, i visited the new WeSC store on Carnaby Street, here in London. A fine tuned shop fit, bang in keeping with the brand (unlike the old store, three doors down, that operated in dead space).

I was going to blog about 'Blackberry Pies being sweeter than Blueberry Pies', in that i have recently been introduced to the world of BBM and still can't understand how I survived without it, but the soon-to-be-iconic headphone brand has pulled something out of the bag that shouldn't work in London, but does. The store is street, horrible description, but it is a street-fashion brand for intellectual slackers - says WeSC. Whilst i think their pricing is relatively off the mark, considering the brand has passed cult status but isn't quite mainstream, it's all a bit expensive, especially on my wages. But the pieces are good, for blokes anyway. I can't say I know too many ladies that would leave laden with WeSC products, given the pricetags, and overt American styling (even if it is Swedish), but it works for men - Dizzee would agree with me if anyone saw him sporting the bagpipe headphones in Wonderland Magazine. And who argues with him? Lethal Bizzle, that's who.

To the point, whilst Penfield is my favourite small middle-American brand, i think WeSC has the market covered somewhere between Vans and Humor. And any store that has an effigy to Jason Lee (My Name is Earl), wins. Check it out.

Style with some substance.

Hello,

I am Alex, Whit & Lock is a take on my last name, and will one day become a brand (if i ever get round to it).

This blog will not be exclusive to one genre of life, instead, a multi-faceted portal for all things i find interesting. Whilst i work out exactly what they are, check out www.secondratediva.blogspot.com for your daily style digs.

Watch this space, please.
